You should look at the recent tire comparisons that Car and Driver did, along with Grassroots Motorsports.

If they ever offer the size, I'd get Dunlop Direzza Z1 Star Spec's in a heartbeat. Very high dry performance (Kumho Ecsta XS's did better on dry, but did piss-pour wet), excellent wet performance - the only one to do well in both tests, really.

I agree. I had Star Specs on my STi. They did great at the road course...though they wear out a lot faster than RE01R's.
