Lol so from that logic you would shift at like 5k rpm everyday while driving in the city in a Civic Si just because it has a 8600rpm redline? Anyways

Anyways you can drive however you want, I'm not the person to tell you otherwise. Just wastes a lot more gas if you shift at higher rpm and possibly more wear for the engine, that's all
