This as well, except I wouldn't like to rev it that high for daily driving. I used to rev it up to 3k and it's a lot smoother to shift lol.

ehh, its got a 7500 rpm redline, think you would be fine. I shifted about the same on both my s2k's (9k rpm redline, 8k rpm redline on the seoncd one) and never had an issue.

Lol so from that logic you would shift at like 5k rpm everyday while driving in the city in a Civic Si just because it has a 8600rpm redline? Anyways you can drive however you want, I'm not the person to tell you otherwise. Just wastes a lot more gas if you shift at higher rpm and possibly more wear for the engine, that's all
