No your opinion is valid and valued. Well atleast the first few sentences of it, because that is what I asked for.

The thread asked simply: Do you use 1st gear in your Manual Transmission 370Z.

What I did not ask for, were the snide remarks that followed your opinion. Which were to discourage me from posting a thread if there was any damaging effects by continuing this practice.
