I'm still on stock clutch. I'll be upgrading the drivetrain here shortly though. Its holding fine but definately need a lighter flywheel. Geez our cars rev slow as balls lol.

Still debating on doing the 4.08 gears as I might go Single Turbo in the future and am trying to minimize my N/A expenses that I know I'm gonna lose out on.

Thanks, though I'm surprised, my stock clutch slips many times, even without nitrous after a few hard starts from stop. Did you try the +100 shot, is it safe torque for the engine then? And I'm afraid that stock fuel pump may be to weak to manage the +100 shot. From what revs do you start the shot?

Subbed.

My clutch ain't slipping at all and right now in spraying a 100 shot and have been doing so for awhile.

How many miles on your car? Your clutch made just need to be changed already if you have a lot of miles. My car only has 8K miles and its holding fine. Now trying to put that power to the ground here is another story but I'm rectifying that issue here shortly :-)

Fuel pump can handle it btw. I spray with the TPS and mine sprays at 3K. You should not spray at anything lower.

in california the bottle has to be closed when driving on public roads, and if you have an electronic opening system, that has to be closed and off and i believe it also has to be in the trunk(doesnt have to be hidden though) but im not sure about that one

EDIT

how does the car handle NOS?

im thinking about getting a set up going as well, im aiming for at least 75 shots but i want to go 100 shots
should i tune for it as well? i assume i would have to but i never could find out

My Z has 6k miles, the clutch is slipping even without a nitrous, 2-3 hard starts from stop and that's it, it gets hot and slips. Good to hear that stock engine is ok with such a torque gain during 100 shot. I spray 75 at 2800, but have that managed via Progression Controller, so the shot is build from 50%-100% within 2800-3800 RPM ofcourse only with wide open throttle which is monitored directly by Controller.

You wrote that fuel pump handles it - just to be sure, did you check the AFR ? What is the AFR value during your 100 shot?

I had some troubles with proper AFR corection for 75 shot on the dyno because the ECU automatically pushed the throttle after shot, so I had to test it directly on the streets.

I dont understand how you guys are having problems with your clutches? I never had one single problem with my oem clutch on my 350z while spraying a 150 shot. It was just traction was the biggest issue i could only spray in second gear. I had no window switch just a wot switch and a arming switch. I know for a fact that a 370z can handle a 150 shot all day with a proper tune.

What brackets did you use to have the bottle hold on to the brace bar like that?
