Intake Air Temperature affect on Ignition Timing

i dont have the uprev fan control yet but with my toggle switch.i turn the fans on at all red lights or slow moving traffic.works wonders on my 09

Sounds like a great idea! I have a spot available for a switch between the seat heater switches and it should be a lot easier than changing the fans. Now to find an illuminated rocker momentary switch that will fit the hole and match the interior (basic black shouldn't be too hard to find heehee). Schematics should be in the FSMs available on this site. Will search later for any DIY instructions.

We'll be doing more digging into the ignition advance controls/compensations in the near future, but as of now the only thing we have for AIT is the sensor calibration, no ignition adjustment. You may be able to trick the ECU into doing something different with the sensor curve, but it would be the WRONG way to do it. It wouldn't work any better than one of those stupid resistor packs they call "chips" on eBay. We need the actual control values/tables.

I added the thread link to our ignition tracking ticket so that someone will update on that thread when we've found the table or values that control how the AIT changes the advance.
