A/T down shifting problem

I don't remember what the oil temp was... I remember the gauge wasn't maxed out, but I'd have to go out and look at the gauge to get the approx

I don't remember what the oil temp was... I remember the gauge wasn't maxed out, but I'd have to go out and look at the gauge to get the approx temp... I remember the position of the needle... about 1 o'clock.

Yes, I was able to carry the car up to redline. Once I coasted a little bit and got the rpm down, it would downshift, and then let me take it at far up to redline as i wanted before I shifted up.
