i have thought of doing this instead since its cheaper and less of a headache.... but i really like stick knobs rather than round ones... just my own personal preference thats all....  the voodoo knobs are nice man i always wanted one... but after i got a similar knob (round one) i only liked it for about a week and switched back to my PWJDM one
