Mechanics online? I need help with 370Z

Couple weeks ago the car used to run just fine until one day it just wouldn't start, it could probably be because I turned the steering wheel while it wasn't running and broke the wheel lock or I dont know how that works, any ideas how to fix?
The car won't do anything except the light at the button where you start engine, and the yellow warning sign,
I tried to, replaced battery, checked fuses, moving steering wheel to left and right, I went to the dealer and they said that my car won't get signal from the stewing wheel and the the steering wheel angle sensor might be disconnected, I checked it isn't,
The wheel is currently in lock position and I'm stranded my car has been home for more than a month, no warranty on it.

Anyone have any ideas what could be the problem?
Thank you!

2009 steering wheel lock failure. Look it up. Sounds like your issue.

I know some guys where able to lightly beat on the the steering lock with a screwdriver to unlock it. Not sure if you have to have the car to the on or acc postion but it worked for some. Maybe if you can get it to unlock then you can pull the fuse and it will keep it in this position.

pulling the fuse out once its failed wont work. its stated in the DIY you have to pull the fuse while its still working and unlocked.

What you can do is, put the fuse back in. keep trying to get it to unlock (turn completely off, attempt to start car.. repeat)

and with what spohn said, give it some phyisical loving. Once its unlocked, immediately pull the fuse before turning the car off.

Yes it can. Depends on when your 2011 was actually manufactured. My 2011 was made in October of 2010 and it doesn't have the newest version. But there is only one 2011 I've heard of failing.

except for 2011's that were manufactured later. later production runs of 2011 dont have the steering lock at all as eveidenced by my 2011 which was manufactured in june of 2011. i can turn the steering wheel without it locking at all while the car is off.
