06-08 350 nismo tranny vs 370 tranny

hey guys let me give you some background i used to have a 03 Z but got totaled due to a deer so i then bought a turboed s2k and i miss my Z so im gettin rid of the honda to come back to nissan (either the 370Z or G37) sooo with that being said my question is

is the tranny (mannuel) from the late 350z better then the 370z???

it seems like a lot of people are complaining about the tranny from the 370, i abused my 350 and never had problems with it and it had 85k miles on original everything.
thanks guys

And here we go

I have a 2010 and the only "complaint" I have is the noise and maybe clunky feel but I have owned many other Nissan's so I'm use to it. Other then that the tranny is very precise and accurate. Last night on a closed course I ran her all the way up to 145 from 0 and could not understand why people complain about this tranny, it was perfect.

The complaint is the CSC giving out and the clutch pedal going to the floor. I went from 04 Z to 08G Coupe. The trans in the Z was much much more rough in ride quality. They are still very "mechanical" feeling and are notchy when rowing through gears but they are quality transmissions. The only difference you will feel is that they are slightly smoother and aren't as rough when shifting at high gear loads.

If the CSC fails, replace it with one of the aftermarket options and you will be fine.

I got Redline MT-85 put in on Monday, and I absolutely love it. My transmission is only a few months old, and this fluid is a huge improvement. My shifts are so much quicker and smoother, and it barely "grinds" getting in gear. I'm also able to shift very quickly at high RPMs... been having a bit of issues the past couple of weeks even with a new tranny!

The stock clutch feel is terrible. It's soft and numb feeling. I upgraded the clutch, slave, and used RBF600 fluid. After a proper bleed and adjustment, clutch engagement is so much more consistent and feels great! Ever have the feeling of slow clutch pedal release? Mine pops up quick.

^Yup, I did the same fluid swap and it definitely quieted down the transmission noises by a fair margin. It didn't eliminate them, but took them down a notch. It also made a very slight difference in terms of smoothing out shifts but it is negligable.

I feel that the 370Z transmission is not the best as far as refinement, but it's better than the 350Z transmission and functions nicely.
