So washed the z yesterday , after , do the normal checks and found that the oil was below the low on the stick .
Just did an oil change about 2700k ago . So I drove down to performance Nissan and had a chat with the service department and , well u all know the deal with these guys . Had to drop off ma baby for them to check the car over . Returned to pick it up and was told to bring it back in 1000k . It's starting to look like I might need to get a new block Will keep posting the out come . |

Engine is fine , did a compression test , all even in the cylinders , just oil loss , have owned lots of the awesome nissans , even the Godzilla cars and never had this problem .
Well will find out in 1000k . |

AT Fluid: Engine running and warm, transmission in neutral, on a level surface with the parking brake engaged. Pull dip stick, wipe, re-insert, pull out and read. Engine oil: Engine off but still warm, parked on a level surface. Pull dip stick, wipe, re-insert, pull out and read. The reason you want to wipe the dip stick and then re-insert before reading is to avoid it reading higher than the oil/fluid actually is. Between all the moving parts and the motion from driving, it's common for oil or fluid to end up much higher on the dip stick than it really is.
