I hear ya, but since it didn't go all the way through I'm not sure it's critical to get a new hose right now. The epoxy and tape is there more for reinforcement than a patch. But since it's a cheap part, when I get a chance I will stop by the dealership to get the replacement hose.

Might be fine now but as the car and hose ages there is a good chance it will weaken and possibly blow. Not worth the huge inconvenience.
When I was a young geek, one of my brand new computers I built wouldn't power on. I opened up the case and found that my hamster escaped and was living in the case... he did some redecorating with my power supply wires. |
