HELP!!! Need a good tuner shop

A friend of mine has a fully outfitted 370z in WV. The car broke down on him and nissan will not touch it. Why? Well between the aftermarket traction control, twin turbos, and EMS nothing is stock for them to look at. The shop he had the work done is all the way in CA.

Anyone know a knowledgeably shop in the surrounding states that can help "import specific ASIAN"? Please reply here or PM me.

How far is he willing to go? Call hok at
J-tune in Delaware, he's very knowledgable

I am not sure, I know the place he takes it to must know a lot about Japan imports and tuning.

I heard J Tune in Delaware has a good rep, there is RT Tuning outside of Philly, PA they are an authorized UpRev dealer and know their Z's very well. Can we get additional details about the breakdown? Hope he didn't blow his motor.

What about AAM?

seymore4 04-29-2012 08:48 PM

I'd say either J-tune or R/T, both good shops and good tuners, both uprev protuners. Honestly can't recommend AAM or forged at all based on stuff I've heard guys on other forums... There's a lot of stuff that gets swept under the rug because they're paying sponsors

injected performance in lexington, ky

bigaudiofanat 04-29-2012 09:34 PM

Will start fine, give it a little more than half throttle=stuttering, full throttle=shuts off and will not turn on for some time.

I know he had it tuned for over 2 months in cali and includes "not limited to" twin turbo's, aftermarket traction control, and aftermarket engine management.

Have not talked to him about the specifics. However I think I heard him say its throwing like 18 codes. Don't quote me on that though.

My money is on the fuel management however I am no expert at engines
