WTF Nissan
So I'm under my car last night and I see this...
Has anyone had this ripped out from under thier car? I sure seems like a bonehead place to put a connector and wiring. Should be tucked up some way. |

If something was able to reach up there and rip the wires out you'd probably have more to worry about than replacing an O2 sensor. For peace of mind I'd zip tie them up and out of the way.

The first drive of this spring I had a truck blow a tire in front of me. A piece of that tire was left in the middle of the highway, and I couldn't get around it because of traffic. I slowed down a bit and straddled it. It wasn't until I was 3/4 of the way home when my SES lit came on. When I got home I looked under the car and sure enough the passenger side plug had come undone. Fortunately the wiring was not compromised. Unfortunately the mounting clip/birds beak was broken. I reset the code with Cypher and wire-tied everything up and out of the way as best as I can.

The Zs and the Gs are the same way. Zip tie the sensors around the upper harness. That's what I did and I'm lowered, without any issues.

Zip ties and duct tape... two things we can't live without.
