Well unfortunately my camera is attached to my phone, but I'll upload a video of driving with it mounted. Basically the little OBDII scanner transmits everything going on with your car over bluetooth to your phone. Then the torque app translates it into usable visual data. RPM, Speed, HP, you name it.

Since its bluetooth, think there is a way to link it to just go straight to the stock navi system if you could get the program on there somehow? That would be pretty sweet so you dont have to mount your phone anywhere.

I'm bad at posting videos, anyway heres a link of a dude using the app while driving. You can set the app to only pull certain parameters, which in turn makes the app run faster. In my experience it was pretty close to real-time. Maybe a .1-3 second delay.

can you get a pic of how you mounted your phone? I would do this if I didnt have to suction cup it to the windshield
