Can someone link a thread of someone's syncros failing due to a short throw?

That's the point. FWIW Google weighted shift knobs and there are plenty of other forums with people talking about how the heavier knob destroys the transmission due to extra strain in the linkage to the transmission, strain on the shift gates as well as syncros.

Which is better? The Stillen short shifter or the B&M short shifter?

I am going to pull my b&m short shifter out. Waste of money. The stock is fine. I have trouble shifting from 4th to 5th, and 5th to 6th
