Any solution for Test Pipe user? :)
Hey guys,I am using Greddy Turbo Ti-C and Invidia Test pipe for my Z.Currently lost in torque and it is normal. I wish to increase back my torque and is it headers and CAI would solve my problem?Any other better way (except force induction)? Thanks.

a tune would be a good start

Headers and long tube intake will help, and lightweight crank pulley and flywheel will allow the engine to rev up easier.

Headers, as I'm assuming you mean shorty, stock replacement headers, will do nothing for you. If you're talking about Long Tube Headers, they'll be replacing your test pipes. And a CAI will help some too, more with HP than TQ, but still help. As previously said, a Tune is your best bet. |
Thanks for all the comment. Sounds like tuning will be the option. Speaking of tuning, I don't want go for reflash ECU because in my opinion reflash ECU can do it once only. Probably will go for Cobb Access or HKS F-Con IS but which 1 will be better? Any other piggyback might replace?

Only 09 models will accept the COBB tune. UpRev is still the best option for our cars for price/performance.

I'm driving the 2009 model. So, I still can use the Cobb but need tuner to manually remap. Looking into HKS F-Con IS, more tuning features will included. Uprev only reflash right?

UpRev is more than a reflash, it allows multiple maps to be loaded and switched thru the cruise control feature. It tunes and logs your vehicle data and is pretty much the standard for our cars. You can order it with a canned tune for your vehicle and then get updates via email, or you can get a pro tuner to install and dyno your car (best option). HKS is more race orientated I believe...
