You should consider dropping in a small-block Chevy V-8 engine. Carroll Shelby put a 289 Ford in a Sunbeam Alpine and created the Tiger, so go for it!

Walk in to west coast customs dubai and ask them for a price, cut it in half and thats what it would cost you to do it.
Edit: avoid small block chevys like the plauge they are already swapped into fuckin everything so it will be as unique as a mustang |
Go for it! I would like to see it done.

If the OP manages to pull this off he will have succeeded in butchering a perfectly good Z34 and his wallet (well maybe not, UAE doesn't worry about those things). However, I highly doubt unless you go the extra step and build the GT-R motor before install that the end result will be faster than a Stage II TT Z.
So OP, if you want to be different and by different I mean spending a lot of $ to lose to forced fed vq37's while trying to explain its a GT-R engine, well I'm sure you can pull it off. |
Trying to swap a VR38 into the Z would be one thing, but an even more impressive idea would be to swap a complete GT-R AWD drivetrain into the Z. You make that happen, and I'll be in line for :pics: Otherwise, it's not worth it. (If you could even make it work in the first place.)

Try reading up on the Juke-R it might give you an idea of how much work, time, and money it's going to take to do this type of project.
