Default Tail shaft oil spray?

I sent my car to a muffler shop earlier this week to get my exhaust system installed, when I picked up the car, they mentioned something about my car's tail shaft having oil spray and I should let the dealer check it out since its under warranty. I took it to the dealership yesterday, they said the car is fine, and there were some oil sipping out from over greased U joints. Today I went back to the muffler shop to pick up my stock exhaust system, and happened to talk to the mechanic there again, I told them what the dealer said, and he told me they are probably not been honest about it? He said it is the transmission, and even though its not a serious problem right now, a new car should do that.

Any idea on what to do?

I had that. It's probably just extra grease when they packed the u joints. If it's still doing in in 30K, go to the dealership -- the drivetrain is under warranty for 50K.

Thanks, I guess I will let them check it out again when I am doing the 30k service
