Best LSD for Base.
Looking to replace the open diff on my base for a LSD. What do you guys recommend? Some people say Quaife, others say just get a 1.5 clutch like the Carbonetics.. or Ive seen good things about the OS Giken. It is just my weekend car and sometimes DD. I wont be tracking it, but spirited driving is def. in the picture . I cant stand the one wheel peel or the poor traction in hard cornering. Any insight would be great!

The Best LSD set up
My list to do it up right...
1) New EURO spec differential housing (pumpkin): 38301-EH53E --this differential has fins in the cast iron bottom, and should come w/the Nissan Motorsports AL finned rear cover. Amazingly, this part number shows up at NNA as a valid part to order due to IF 2011+ Nismos cook their rear differential this part number is the replacement. 2) Rear diff breather (this has to be pressed in): 38356-JL00A 3) Nismo rear diff AL finned rear cover 38351-350DK (may not be needed if the EURO spec diff comes with this) 4) Silicone vac hose 6mm for the diff breather ~ 1.5ft 5) O.S. GIKEN Super Lock LSD (clutch type, 1.5 way): D-NB102061405-S 6) An additional LEFT flange for the OSG LSD: 38220-JK01B 7) 4.363 Nissan Frontier final drive gear: 38100-0C860 ---If the 4.363 gears are a little to low for you, then the 4.083 or 3.916 is also an option available from Nissan. 8) Diff assembly by professional trans/rear end shop 9) SPL differential bushings Last edited by L33T Z34; 10-16-2012 at 09:35 PM. ^x2, the Quaife is arguably the best street/track LSD in smoothness and bullet proof reliability. That's what's going into my base diff when I'm able to free up some disposable income.
