Most likey not. Not many people go that route. If your building a motor most go FI on top of that.

What I meant was built motors but also just stock motors with intakes /exhaust ,tune etc giving all their info so we (noobs ) can get a better of what to expect out of just a stock car with bolt on's a a tune or uprev etc . perhaps we can come up with a best possible combo for power and tourq , sound vs style . handling which coilovers etc etc I would have to say my biggest disappointment with the Z is the lack of power tuning options and the cost involved .I was hoping to stay NA and get 350 hp -400 to the wheels with a tune . How much can you get without going FI? 310hp ? anyway just an idea.

Current top end NA power is around 330whp, that is intake/exhaust/hfc/pulleys/tune and I might be missing something.
There is a 350z that just hit 370whp, but that was heads/cams/ITB/exhaust/pulleys/tune and more, was on a 100% track ready car.

Now, can a 370z hit that same whp? Probably, but it will be a heavy investment of first run parts to one off parts to push the limit of your car.

Noobs, always ranting about how you want more POOOOOWWWEERRR! First I'll answer your question. If you want power while staying n/a get long tube headers, full exhaust, intakes and a tune, it'll net you 330-340whp.

With that said, those of us with extensive time behind the wheel of a Z know that power is half the Z's allure. The car is well balanced and unlike many other more powerful cars, it actually lets the driver put all the power down on the road while maintaining a comfortable level of control. If you want big power get a Mustang, I for one can't get past the looks and size of the new Mustangs.

As I love to say. Let me see what you can do on the track. Fast driver is better than a fast car.

Never said I wanted big power just wanted to be able to reach a modest goal with out spending a crazy amount of money to get it . I actually am not power focused . that being said I think the ceiling of power (staying NA ) that the Z has is disappointing. and the FI options are quite expensive . I also dont like the stangs either but if there was an option to have a VK56VD powered 370z I would get one and I am sure the Z would be more popular

Well, remember you are dealing with a V6 motor so NA is limited when compared to a V8, you are not going to get 450whp. I will say 400whp is probably doable in the 370z, but you are going to put up big money to achieve this. Now if you want modest goals, then intake/LTH/exhaust/pulleys/tune will probably give you what you want.

Throw in some balancing, coilovers/sways/weight adjustments and you will have a solid car.

Yeah, my car is all out of whack.
Rear hatch is gutted, but added a SC to the front.

Maybe one day nissan will move the tranny to the rear type setup to balance this all out.

Well, I still need to move the battery and possibly migrate a few other things in the front which will help.

That's what I've been researching today. The battery is a big boy. My new seats made a huge improvement. When my new steering wheel gets here I'm going to bolt my seats to the bracing and get rid of the sliders.

Yeah, seats are probably a fairly large reduction and center of the car also which helps. Only issue for me is I need seats that lower me, being 6'5" is tough.

That's actually the main reason I'm doing this. When I mounted my Recaros tht actually sat higher. I hate that.
