I was thinking about installing an engine oil cooler near the back of the Z with an electric fan installed. Maybe up above the exhaust or just in front of the exhaust.

I am not sure how well it would work in those two locations, but I have not done alot of research on things like that for this car. Maybe some of the guys who track the car can chime in. I would like to know myself since you asked.

What purpose do you see in this? Do you know how long of oil lines you'd have to run? Would your run a dif cooler in the front of a car? No. I would quickly delete this thread. Just say'n.

IMO if you're going to go to the trouble of custom mounting an oil cooler I'd say ditch the air to oil cooler and get a water to oil cooler. No block off plate needed and oil temps would come up to operating temp quicker after cold start.
