Nismo oil cooler.

just wondering does anyone know if the 370z version of the nismo come with oil cooler?

We are not sure yet. The preliminary launch data do not include one but who knows? Maybe Nissan will include one. Also, you can probably add one as an accessory (once the Nismo oil cooler kit comes out) when you take the delivery.

My Consumer Affairs/Quality Control people at Nissan assured me it was a few weeks. It's just about out. We'll see though. They clearly know about our conerns.

Please update us as soon as you know something. Is this going to be different than the Nissan Motorsports Oil Cooler, part # 21300-SS370, that is mentioned in another thread? The $780 one "cough" ;)

The $20k question - will the NISMO 370 have an oil cooler?

Just out of curiosity, has anyone heard a 'reliable' rumor as to whether the NISMO 370 will come factory equipped with an oil cooler? Of less concern, how about a differential cooler?

YES...the 2010 Nismo has an oil cooler

I just picked up my 2010 Solid Red Nismo 370Z today and low & behold it has an oil cooler! It's placement is in front & to the left of the radiator when looking at the front of the car. Way ta go Nissan!

Does it look like the part in the photo from Vipor's DIY NISMO Oil Cooler installation thread?

Your description places it right where the power steering cooler is.

are you sure it's not the powersteering cooler that you mistook for an oil cooler?

Hey buddy, don't feel bad, this is a common mistake many have made, assuming the power steering cooler was an oil cooler. The guys here are just having some fun with you because the mistake happens often.

Yeah, we definitely don't want to scare you off or anything. We are just having fun.

If we don't work hard to make lulz, what kind of future is there for internet memes? I don't ever want to find out.

Nuts!

Alright now so I'm a Newbie and made a rookie mistake (I should have keep my mouth Zipped!)

But I'm releived otherwise that the the volume control on the stereo, just like my guitar amp...goes to ELEVEN!

But I can take it, I'm a big boy...bring it on, even the bad hair jokes about my follically challenged dome don't phase me anymore. My wife always told me:

"It's not a bald spot...it's a solar panel for a sex machine!"

As far as I'm concerned, after what you've been through recently, you deserve all the get out of jail free cards you need
