Got my exhaust, HFCs and 4.08 gears installed. The power difference is truly amazing - it's like a whole new car now. I've very happy with the results.

As far as the effects on SRM, when downshifting, the revs are about 200 RPMs under what they should be. This doesn't bother me as all I do is release the clutch a little bit slower to make up for it.

congrats, thanks for the updates. 200 rpm is really not too bad. So you did not notice the SRM acting weird in any other way? I vaguely recall reading a post saying that the SRM started acting up somehow and then just stopped working.

How do you feel about traction in 1st and 2nd gear now?

I haven't noticed any other after-effects on the SRM so far. As far as traction goes, I can get traction in 1st but it's probably because my tires are still so new - I only have 4k miles on the car right now. 2nd gear holds traction all the way through and pulls like a mofo

4.08 with SRM is fine as long as you use the stock clutch, anything heavier and its very noticeable and annoying. only caveat is that going over 120+mph triggers a warning and SRM disables itself until you restart the car.

Good to know, thanks for the info. Looks like if/when I go with an aftermarket clutch I'll most likely stop using SRM altogether
