I have the same issue but its only when the engine is cold. It definitely follows the speed of the RPM so the injectors sound like a correct diagnosis. It didn't sound like that when i first bought the car. Is this possibly a harmful situation or HP loss?

UPDATE:
After driving for a while to reproduce the noise which can only be heard at idle, I restart the engine, the noise is gone. Someone said it was VVEL knocking, there is a TSB for it to update ECU/ECM, but that was for 2008 model. Mine is 2011 with 3000 miles. |

The ticking?! Mine does the same thing. When I start the car in the morning it does it and wont stop no matter what as long it stays running from the initial start up. But if i let it warm up then stop the engine and restart it goes away. I say it (MY) lifter/ rocker. But i aint sure. It goes away so i wouldnt worry about it. I was on mobil went to ams oil and same thing so its another characteristic from the on the vhr.

Sounds like some sort of top end valve train noise. Look into it. It probably will get worse. Also, it may be an oil issue. (I know, I'll probably open a few cans of worms with the oil comment.)
