I've got a long block that I wanted to make a table out of and don't need the heads, I didn't wanna take this straight to a for sale section

Default How much do vq37vhr heads sell for normally?

I've got a long block that I wanted to make a table out of and don't need the heads, I didn't wanna take this straight to a for sale section so they could close it so I thought I'd see if someone had a general idea of what they go for. The heads are perfectly fine just need to be taken to a machine shop to resurface but I'm even considering doing that real quick so there's no issues

Because of the VVEL, the heads are not enduser serviceable - they are return to the factory for re-assembl

So, IMHO they are most useful as boat anchors and will attract a similar price. Small boat anchors on EBAY are <$100 - so I'd be asking $200 for the pair.

thats bs only really non servicable parts are are the vvel ladder assembly itself. the heads can be disassembled the valves can be replaced. the entire exhaust side is serviceable. it takes special steps compared to a normal dohc engine but they are serviceable dont try to screw the guy. 4-700 for the set depending on condition is fair. not to mention hr cams can be fitted with some work and then you have high-flow overbore hr heads.
