Chris, correct. If you have an aftermarket diff and you track frequently, this sort of thing will payback over the long-term. And it will give you more certainty that your diff is protected from overheating... For folks that do enduros / track their car often or in very high temps (AZ summers), it's a good investment. Otherwise, if I were only doing occasional track days, I'd take the risk of not having one... you can get a new diff for about the price of a kit like this FYI

Get out of my mind. You've been reading it again, or my brain waves are that strong. Been thinking about getting this kit too. Making some changes to it, as I want to mount it in the rear bumper. Cutting out a section of it.

I don't think so, it takes up a lot of real estate under there.
