Well it all depends on what you're doing with the car I guess . I'm pretty sure the Stillen kit ships a 19-row Series 1 (e.g. https://www.pegasusautoracing.com/pr...asp?RecID=8935 ).

Yeah it might be, it's hard to tell through the front grille and I'm not pulling my bumper off tonight. My best guess is it's the 19 though. It's definitely the right width for the little Series 1 sizes though.

.05 is not much when all you do is use the 7AT as a DD.
6MT vs 7AT will go on forever. whats important imo is that the auto guys don't have to take a back seat anymore when it comes to performance. the only thing i can say is i think the AT will offer less headaches on upkeep. |

I donno, I think in the very long run the 7AT is probably more maintenance hassle. It's just a lot more likely to need a rebuild/replacement. AT's in general are just more failure prone than MTs, there's a lot more moving parts and wear items involved. Add to that the fact that so far you can't even check and change your own fluid on the 7AT due to the Consult-III dealership temp thing.

Traffic in a 6MT is not bad at all. You're mostly coasting at 3-5MPH in 1st or 2nd, or slipping the clutch a tad with some quick throttle inputs and letting the car move forward every now and then.
The only reason I hate traffic in my 6MT is because I know the clutch hates it and heats up quite a bit with the non-stop stop-and-go for 45 minutes. |
