Will a diff made for a vLSD replacement fit in a non-sport Z if the pumpkin was changed? or is their any way else other than changing the axle ( not that it's an option )

the thing is the reason I'm selling my Quaife is that I found out that it is a vLSD replacement, and won't fit in my Z after a month and two weeks from buying it . So it's possible to install it!!?

can you help us understand better? You currently have a sport diff or a base diff?
And you have a Quaife made for a drop in for a sport package model? |

I think I understand. Not positive but I believe you can put the Quaife in the base model if you change out the axle stubs. Call Forged Performance they know for sure. I want to say I recall Sharif telling me there are two or three different axle stubs on our cars for different models.

Can't remember what they cost. Maybe $150 a piece. But not sure if you need one or two. I only needed one for my setup. We did something different on my car. But that's a different story. Just tell them Chris Spohn sent you if you don't mind.

The standard quaife configuration is made for the base diff.
The kit for sport package cars includes a base axle stub, which should just be leftover. I'd call to verify though |
