Wolf's head synthetic oil?
I noticed that my mechanic uses Wolf's head oil synthetic.l. I have been bringing my BMW and Subaru to him for years. He seems very knowledgeable and has been extremely reasonable as far as pricing and maintenance. He said he has been using Wolf's head for years.
I have been bringing my 2010 Z to the dealership for oil changes and have found out that they are not using ester oil. I only have 5000 miles on my 370z. They will use ester oil if I request it but the service manger said it's not necessary. What oil should I use? THE OWNERS MANUAL DOES NOT MAKE MENTION OF SYNTHETIC OIL. |

[QUOTE=Super Moderator II;1432069]There has been a lot of discussion around RP. A quick search showed about 6 threads, this was the first one:

Use any 5W-30 API certified oil and you won't go wrong. There isn't a lot of difference between brands except you have a choice to use dino or synthetic. Oil will not destroy your engine if you change it according to the OM maintenance schedule.
