Default Clutch feel

Hey guys, I'm thinking of purchasing a 370Z and I'd like to get your feed back. It's kind of a dumb question, but I figured I'd asked. In the past I've owned STi and the clutch was rather nice, with a pretty nice "grab" zone. How does the clutch of the Z feel? I'm just trying to gauge the learning curve.

Thanks for the input.

The stock clutch on the Z has a bit of a learning curve. Very hard to fell exactly where it engages, what with the helper spring and all. I have no problem shifting, and the up rev helps you cheat even more, but it is a different feel from most.

I've noticed that mine tends to grab just right @ about 1500 rpm. Like stated before, it does take a bit of getting used to.

The Z has a total different setup for engagement than most. But it's nothing to concern yourself with. Search here for clutch helper spring. Not sure if they can be had anymore but you could defiantly source one out. This mod makes the clutch feel what it should be.
