a quick glance at the back side of your pumpkin will tell you. the black nasty bushing filler stands out against the shiny dif cover.

I recently received the solid CNC ALUMINUM rear diff bushings from SPL - $161 shipped. I decided against the ES bushings after reading on my350Z about what POS they were. I’m installing the SPL bushings on 29 SEP while I got my rear diff out for a 4.36 final drive modification.

Took me about two hours hacksawing and chiseling out teh beeotch, but it finally gave! What a PITA it was. Getting sprayed w/liquid silicone just made the experience all the better!

Picked up my rear diff w/the 4.36 ring n pinion this past WED. Installed the SPL solid diff bushings on 4 NOV. Had to make two special tools to pull it through the subframe. 1/4" plate steel w/a 1/2" hole drilled through it so a grade 8 bolt in the lengths of 7.5" and 4.5" could be welded to it. Used grade 8 nuts and washers. Pressed it into the subframe easily w/a 2', 1/2" drive breaker bar.

I have a set of SPL bushings for the 370.. If anyone needs them let me know. They are just out on the market so obviously brand new. It'll be a smoking hot deal too!!

Yeah I stayed posted for Whiteline poly diff bushing, but it doesn't look like it's ever coming out and I need a diff bushing out back bad, SPL it is.

That stuff you pulled out looks identical to what i hacked out of mine.

I hope whiteline do come out with one for the 370 (does anyone know it's not the same as the 350z?)

Anyway, the whiteline bushes feel great, like a nice solid OEM feel.

I have a custom machined removal tool for the diff bushing; makes it a breeze.

Anybody interested in Delrin or urethane diff bushing, let me know. I'll work on posting pictures of the 2 bushing options. Also have a video showing diff movement with oem and upgraded bushings, what a difference!

So are did Whiteline ever come out with bushings for the 370? Are there any aftermarket options??? I will be needing one and don't want to buy the entire subframe from Nissan

Ok, so sorry to bring up a dead thread. Did anyone figure out which poly bushing fits in 370/g37? I need to fix my popped pimple. :(

Hey guys, just throwing in my 2c -- I went to Z1 for them to fix an exhaust leak and they found my oem bushing was busted. Fluid everywhere. They replaced the busted bushings with the whiteline bushings for the 350z and I couldn't be happier. I would never want to replace a busted OEM bushing with another OEM bushing -- it would just fail again!

I never have tracked my car, but I do DD it and drive it hard pretty much every day. Just took a quick drive after the install and the rear end feels much more solid -- especially on hard 1-2 shifts.

I noticed earlier in the thread someone said the 350z bushing do not fit 370z. Not sure if this is true, but if you have an experienced, reputable shop such as Z1, the bushings can easily be made to fit. I wish I took a picture of the busted OEM, but you can easily see the whiteline are much better quality.

Did you replace the two differential bushings up front as well?

A year ago I'm told by Whiteline support that they were still testing the bushings for the 370Z. I'd love to beef things up with the submounts and whatnot with poly bushings one day.

They were able to install the full kit, so the two bushings up front should have been replaced as well. The car seems much smoother under acceleration overall, and it seems quieter when shifting gears as well (although mine may have been more noisy initially due to the busted oem bushings). There are no vibrations or any negatives that I have encountered so far.
