Default Antifreeze Loss/NO Leaks?

I have a 2011 Nismo that's running hot (water temp 1 dot over half) smells like antifreeze and the reservoir is slightly over the minimum mark. What gets me is there are NO LEAKS! Do our Z's burn antifreeze??

The only thing I can think of is a blown head gasket could leak coolant into the block on most cars... check your oil for signs for water or overfilling immediately.

Also how are you sure it isn't leaking? Are you checking under the car with it running hot? Liquid thins when it heats up so a small leak could become more evident when the car is pumping hot coolant. Do you smell any coolant burning?

I park my car in the garage and this isn't a spot on the floor that would reflect any type of leaks and yes, I do smell coolant burning. I only have 3,500 miles on her at this point. I don't drive it hard at all and only a couple times a week.

The oil level is fine and also it seems that hot air is coming from the vents inside the car with the AC system turned OFF, that hasn't happened before either.

take it in for warranty and have it checked out it isn't a common problem tho based on that there might be a defect in your heater core.

do you get any coolant smell or fog from the vents? also when the car is running hot is there bubling in the reservoir tank/ exhaust fumesfrom the tank? if its burning coolant i hope it is just a gasket not a casting defect.

There is no coolant smell or fog from the vents. Actually, I took it out for a drive this morning after checking the coolant level (slightly above min.), drove for about 20 minutes or so at 80 mph and the water temp never got to the have way mark and no coolant smell when I got home, leaks or excessive cabin heat, sooo I have no idea what the deal was yesterday. Still going to take it in and have it checked out though, after all, that's what warranties are for right?

oh, and wow, I had no idea it would be so difficult to get the "Blue" antifreeze our cars require, called all over and apparently only the Dealerships sells it.

My vents blow warm air with a/c off too. I've heard of others having this problem so it may be normal unfortunately.

Hey,
My 2011 Touring Z has the same issue, loss of fluid, smell, no leaks, no antifreeze detected in the oil. Any advice would be great, thanks

Yes, the Nissan Long life brand. Dont need it specifically, just what they want to sell to you. In warranty, who cares.

Other options out there:
