Yes, I have seen the slip light come on and flash on occasions too, BUT... this is when the VDC is on, and BOTH the VDC off light and the slip light come on solid and remain on until the vehicle is restarted. The manual indicates a VDC error of some sort. I thought it might be a bad sensor or something. dunno

Hi, i have the exact same problem with the VDC off and wheel slip lights on dash.
Every time i shut down and restart the car, all come back normal, but as soon as i drove and do some accelerations both light come back again....
i don't know what is that...

i also have the parking brake light that come on and go back every time i accelerate.

i have all this in my iPhone video, just tell me how to put it on line and you will see....

I just started having this issue including the brake light about three weeks ago. Subed for info.

Long, irrelevant, story leading up to this, but at one point I intentionally adjusted my parking brakes (the adjustment you make through the peep-holes on the rear brake discs) all the way to the "loose" setting and drove around like that for a few days. It caused exactly what you were describing: during hard accel, the parking brake light would randomly light up at times. I think when it's too loose, under hard accel (or perhaps during the snap of upshifts under hard accel?), the very loose brake gets bumped or moved somehow and manages to grab something in a way that triggers the light on the dash.

With the adjustment all the way loose like that, I also really couldn't engage the brake normally at all. You could yank the parking brake lever all the way up with virtually no force at all, and the car would still roll. I imagine if your brakes were that far out of whack, you'd notice (unless you never use the parking brake lever?). In any case, check parking brake adjustment at the rear wheels and in the center console.

This happened to me as well. It's been doing it more often during hard acceleration.

finally, this thing was annoying as hell, the red exclamation and slip light going on solid until i restart and it happens every time, it makes me paranoid..

sorry for the newb question but should i check the brake level when the car is off or on? and you said to top it off, but the other 2 guys on the first page of this thread said dont top it off bc when you do a brake change, it will overflow and make a mess?

which brake fluid do we use and whats it called? im just going to buy it from the nissan dealership

Doesn't matter if the car is off or on when checking brake fluid.
Use a DOT 3/4 compatible brake fluid. Doesn't matter what brand. I use Valvoline Synthetic and have no issues.
Don't worry about fluid overflow until you change brake pads and then you can use a syringe to suck some out.
