Lightweight crank and alternator pulley

If I replace the OEM pulley to the lightweight pulley would that be a good idea? Will the hp increase? Are there any disadvantages? Please advise thank you..

Lots of threads on this. You can search. But the general idea is that there is power to be gained but proper installation is a must.

FYI to the OP - I included dyno results when I reviewed way back when:

So basically there will be no disadvantage by installing those lightweight pulley. Just my thought were I lighten one side and may cause imbalance on the gearbox side( other side of the crankshaft) FYI my gearbox are automatic. Thank you for sharing and info
