First oil change, can't believe how much improved!

Had done the intro about picking up an extremely nice 10'Z with the Sport package along with having the Typhoon intake already installed a few weeks ago. Well, after spending a lot of time and effort researching oils, I just completed my first oil change about 1 week ago. Went with Royal Purple 5-30 using a new OEM filter. Just can't believe how much better the car sounds. Just seems to purr now versus having had too much mechanical noise. One more vote for Royal Purple!!
Also, when and what are many of you using when changing out the tranny oil? Am quite sure I'll have similar results when I change that fluid as well.
If only everyone who drove a Vette knew what nice cars these are for 1/2 the amount!!

Redline in tranny and rear diff. Huge difference in shifting and not as much noise from rear end.

I think I'm going to find out for myself in a few months.
What was the factory fill? Ester, or regular?
