Catback Exhaust vs. Exhaust System

What's the difference between just putting a stillen catback exhaust on, and a full exhaust system..? I know the exhaust system is more expensive and there are more pieces, but what are those pieces specifically and how does it affect your BHP gains etc..

That cat back exhaust from the cataletic converters in back.

A full exhaust typically starts at the headers, may delete the cat or leave a HFC and finishes the rest of the exhaust system.

Depends....... Cat-Back means the System only includes the parts from the Cats to the muffler..... Some Exhaust systems include "Downpipes" or "Testpipes"

Your safest and most legal bet is just go with a Cat back or an axle back exhaust.... Theyre cheaper, less toublesome, will pass emissions usually and still gain some horse power. Some guys on here have also done HFC and headers and have seen improved HP but some torque loss. When the vehicle has a tune it might make up for that but at this point I am unsure if anyone has gone through with it yet.
