Before/after dyno chart database
Not sure if something like this has been done but I searched a bit and didn't come up with anything.
I'd like to see if we can consolidate into one spot all the before/after dyno charts for various mods done on our cars. Anyone that has seen a dyno on the forums or elsewhere is encouraged to add it to this thread. To make the information easier to interpret, please post an image of the chart (or a direct link to the file if in pdf or other form) here along with as much relevant information as possible about the runs: 1. Mod(s) changed between runs 2. Other mods on car that were not changed between runs 3. Was ECU tuned before and/or after mods? 4. Which gear was dyno performed in? 5. Link to original source(specific thread/post/mfg. website) for the chart |

Fast Intentions Long Tube Headers
Here is an example to get started(not my own obviously):
1) Before: Stock headers w/ F.I. HFCs After: F.I. headers 2) Other mods: Stillen Gen IIIs, F.I. catback 3) Tune: tuned after, not sure about before? 4) Gear: unknown 5) Fast Intentions exhaust and header comparison. Before and after UPRev tune (Dyno) |

Definitely a sticky. Great idea! Then maybe we could have like an overall summary of the gains at the top of the page or something. That way you could look at different mods and just see a summary of the gains from different setups.

Prices vary too much, especially if you throw in used prices. I got my exhaust used for half the price of a used one. You could still use the new price, but realistically my personal $$/hp number will be less and others can acheive a lower number as well.

Agreed... before/after dynos don't have any basis for argument... assuming the person isn't lying about the mods (which is pointless) it is pretty cut and dry.
