The 4b11 has shown thus far to be quite a reliable motor from what I have seen on the Evo forums, and I spent a lot of time on there. The old 4g63 was proven over and over and over for 9 generations and obviously in some of the older Eclipse's as well, so yes I would say it was more reliable, both are strong motors though. The power trains in the Z seem quite solid though and I have read no complaints on any area of them which makes me happy. I'll be putting my trusty AMSoil MTF in my Z soon too
