Electric Cutouts anyone?

I've heard that the motors on these are very prone to failure, and you may run into a slight leak when it's closed. I'm sure it sounds amazing, though.

I havnt seen any bad reports. I know there's probly a small leak, but is the motor thing true? Cuz they say they're weather proof but hmmmmm

A lot of guys used these in the Subaru world, and there were always a few threads about the motor failing. I can't speak to the quality and weatherproofing of the install, though.

Yea that's why I mentioned that the manual ones are a whole lot more reliable/cheaper too but it dose require wiring the push /pull switch to the cabin which was the harder part of the install.
