The voltage drop across a diode is typically 0.6V, shouldn't be enough to bother anything, especially since it will only be effecting the trailer. Just did a search on digikey.com

Just did a search on digikey.com and 15A 200V diode are $0.89 each. You would need 4.

Why 4? Shouldn't I only need one at the connection to the left and right turn signal at the trailer light box, total of 2?
I think I found some http://www.roadmasterinc.com/img/diode.png Last edited by cossie1600; 08-23-2011 at 12:40 AM. |

In the case of the ones you found above it is basically 2 diodes in 1 so you would only need two of those. Also looks like they are setup for easy spade connections where as the general purpose ones I found would require soldering. Digi-Key - FFPF15UP20STTU-ND (Manufacturer - FFPF15UP20STTU)

so why didn't the dealer do an alignment after the tank drop? Seems like that should be part of the procedure.
Glad you got the other stuff figured out though!
