Haven't seen anyone post these so I decided to share:

IMO, you should stay away from hard mounts on this car unless you have a racecar.

haha true, but if you're pushing crazy HP this is a part needed to make sure you get the most power from the engine to the wheels

Maybe the stock engine mounts contribute slightly to the small throttle lag some feel. Those are pretty well priced too, it would be nice to feel like the engine is more connected to the car!

not all engine mounts are bad... the super hard ones are obviously going to vibrate the car pretty bad, but some feel basically stock (on other cars I mean).

that tranny mount is going to make the m6 tranny feel tight as hell. However, the last time someone tried that product the vibration was so bad you could feel it well after you stopped driving.

hey guys,

so I got in contact with some guys over at DE and this is what they said about the mounts:

Due to the suspended design, they do not touch metal to metal. We have these installed on our own 370Z and it is certainly stiffer than stock, but it is not uncomfortable. I have ridden in cars with aftermarket mounts and have felt my teeth chattering and that is hardly the case here. I personally have ridden in our Z a few times and I have no complaints about the difference in ride/comfort.

so those who thought this was strictly for a race car, it seems like its not the case

as far as I know only DE has it installed on their car, I'll see if I can get the instructions and pictures... but you'd pretty much be one of the first ones to test it out
