What's the yellow flashing light I see when I go WOT?

Shift indicator IS red. It's traction control, which is the VDC. Next time you are turning, nail the throttle and the back will step out a few inches then snap

Next time you are turning, nail the throttle and the back will step out a few inches then snap back and the light will come on, shaking it's finger at you. Do not turn the VDC off unless you are experienced with RWD, 'short' wheelbase cars. She's a handful.
