REV on instrument cluster

Maybe it's just me but is the word REV lit up all the time?

I was driving in a thunderstorm last night when I noticed that REV was constantly lit up. There were no issues that I felt. After getting home I search the forums and google but all I can find was info on the synch-rev match.

If it does stay on constantly I guess I haven't been paying much attention to the speedometer these past two years. Lol :driving:

Sounds like you have issue with yours. May want to take her in for a checkup.

I didn't even know the actual word lit up...

There is a "REV" light on the cluster??? I didn't even know lol.

I believe it lights when you hit the rev limiter. I would take it to the dealer.

Nop, there is a light underneath the word REV. That is what lights up when u hit the limiter.

oh wait, the word REV is actually lit all the time

You can see the word in there when the lights are off:

I think ur good IMWEZL. It's normal behavior. It's the same as the "MPH" on the speedo.
