possible CSC failure
at 24k miles ive had issues with cluth pedal pressure and clutch fluid either leaking or burning off some how. i filled the resivour up and bleed per the book, but it still feels crappy.
also last night i noticed a half dollar sized puddle of black watery greese on my garage floor. jacked her up and noticed the bushing that holds the rear differential to the sub frame busted....? odd :wtf: here you see the dif on the left and the sub frame where the dif attaches. http://www.the370z.com/members/fuct-...ure36749-a.jpg i drop her off at the dealership at noon. wish me luck :icon14: |

UPDATE: email from te dealership.
Nick, We are going to replace the clutch slave cylinder and the rear cross member under warranty. I should have the clutch slave cylinder tomorrow. The cross member will take several days to arrive. I think you should be able to pick up the vehicle tomorrow after we complete the slave cylinder. Once the rear cross member arrives then I will contact you to schedule the repair. Thanks, Allen (this was sterling mccall nissan off hwy 59 and west airport) |
Good News! glad to hear it is being handled promptly and under warranty.

UPDATE::
The rear cross member came in earlier than expected and i got the car back on saturday. everything feels great. i went ahead and had them change the oil to pennzoils new synthetic stuff. after 24000 miles on ester oil i can say that by using the pennzoil my average driving around temps are 5-10 degrees hotter. no worries though im still within the safe margins. heres the paper work for you guys. http://www.the370z.com/members/fuct-...ure37218-a.jpg http://www.the370z.com/members/fuct-...nissandoc2.jpg |
I recently had the slave cylinder replaced on my 2009 Nismo. The dealership said they had other come in with the same issue...luckily it was covered under my exsisting warrant. They replaced it as well as the master cyclinder for free and were great to deal with!
