Has anyone replace the spark plugs on the 370?

I am thinking about pulling mine out to inspect them to get to my misfire problem, any instructions?

Thanks

I've done this several times on my 350 and it looks all to similar on the 370. Just remove the strut bar, upper part of intakes, and the throttle bodies. Unclip the harness from the coilpacks and maybe some PCV hoses also. You will probably have to move parts of the harness to the side to get to the bolts holding the coilbacks in but once those bolts are out just pull the CP's out. After that's removed it's a normal business from there using a spark plug socket. Pretty easy for the avg. car guy. There's nothing really hard about removing the TB's just time.

But if you haven't done the coolant bypass mod then your going to have to remove those lines from the throttle bodies with coolant in them. Shouldn't be too much though just pin those lines back from there sources.

I really don't want to do this. God damn why can't the car just throw a CEL or something

i tightened the brake switch. stupid car is still stumbling down low at mostly partial throttle. cruise control goes out on its own. wtf

clutch pedal switch? also you needto use a very thin spark plug socket none of mine fit think i used a 14mm deepwell they are NOT normal plugs and are different from the 350 ones with the redesign of the head.

clutch pedal switch would kill the cruise, but does it cut engine power?

just a small tip for ya - you don't have to completely remove the intake manifold to gain access to the coil packs. i just used a wrench to push it out of the way. +2 about the size of the plugs; they're much smaller than (in my case) my Acura TL's were...

No one mentioned the intake manifold. I did say upper intakes as in air intakes.

I have done about 10 set of spark plugs on 370s. Takes about an hour or so.

Is it worth upgrading your spark plugs on a N/A car? Suggestions for brand if so? I remember looking through some threads about F/I and guys were saying the ones that are in the our cars now are already 2 steps colder than most cars so no real need to replace them.

It cuts engine power to about 20% if it thinks the brakes are applied. If you want to verify this pull the brake light fuse on the drivers floor fuse panel. Obviously you want to test this where there is no traffic :)

No I think my problem is fuel, highly doubt it is spark now. Of course I did adjust my brake switch, I had to get in the uncomfortable gumby position to do so.
