So in the service manual it states the CSC and it's line MUST be changed anytime you remove the clutch. Anyone have any experience with this? Any shops out there

Clutch/Flywheel Swap. Change CSC?
So in the service manual it states the CSC and it's line MUST be changed anytime you remove the clutch. Anyone have any experience with this? Any shops out there actually doing it?

Yes, there are a few threads out there that you might want to do in the search bar. If you are upgrading your clutch you need to upgrade your csc which the oem csc will only last for so long.

The reason it should be changed is when you pull the transmission out all the clutch dust and debris is on the slave shaft were the seal rides, When you pull the trans the slave extends all the way out and collects all the crap on the shaft effectively killing the slave seal then and there.
The stock slave will go bad regardless so at least put a new stock slave in or preferably upgrade to our HD slave kit. |
