S-mode problem

Hey all, I just finished a very long and difficult DVD/NAV install on my '11 Nismo. I finally got everything working, including the parking brake bypass and steering wheel adapter.

Default S-mode problem

Hey all, I just finished a very long and difficult DVD/NAV install on my '11 Nismo. I finally got everything working, including the parking brake bypass and steering wheel adapter. The only problem now is that my s-mode doesn't come on anymore. There are no warnings on the info display or anything, no warnings of any kind, just the s-mode does not come on. I had the battery disconnected throughout the install and I made sure to re-connect all harnesses before re-connecting the battery. I've tried resetting the ecu (disconnected the battery for more than 10 minutes), but no luck. I bought the car a month ago, and I've only driven it twice, including the drive home from the dealers. 70 miles on the ODO so far.

Anyone seen this problem/know a fix?

You're absolutely sure you plugged the SRM switch back in and didn't pinch any wires?

The hazard switch works and it's on the same harness as the s-mode switch. I'm assuming the info display would give me an error code if the wiring/switch was screwed up. I'm gonna research fuses next.

Any other advice? Dealer is my last option.

Thanks much.

Default Fixed.

The silver trim that goes around the shifter went on crooked when I put it back on. It was preventing the s-mode button from going all the way back up. I straightened it up and all is good!
