Edit. I forgot to mention I still have my block off plate on. It's covering about 3 inches still. I really could remove it completly with these temps where having. Reason being is in the mornings it's still about 75 degrees and my oil temps only hit about 170

Do you have a thermostatic plate installed? I got the GTM 34 row installed with one a few days ago and now I'm having a hard time getting to 180 with normal driving even when it's fairly hot outside. I remember reading that some of the oil still has to run through the cooler with the plate installed but I'm just wondering if it's time I build a block off plate?
