Engine turn over

Should my engine crank 3 or 4 times before she starts or should it be instantly?

Also the car feels like I am going to break her when reving out in First.

any thoughts?

In regards to your second question, please elaborate on what you mean by it feels like you're going to "break her."

The engine revs out to a high RPM very fast.

Well yeah, your in 1st.

I am barely in the gear before I have to shift the car into second. I know I sound stupid but it would be nice to have a little more teeth before the car revs out and I have to shift into second.

You can do 40 mph in 1st. Only the high horsepower cars or track focused cars run more gear in 1st (Z06, Viper, Ferrari etc). You could switch to a lower ratio final drive gear but then the spacing between on the gears will be higher and SRM may not work anymore.

That is good to know. I have been shifting after 20mph. I will let it go a little more.

I do love the ride!
